WOW! Where do I start, we were called in to this property to advise on options to improve the overall central heating efficiency due to excessive running cost. This client was spending big money on oil each year and needed to find solutions. The recently built sunroom proved difficult to heat and was rendered almost unusable during the winter seasons.
Decisions were taken to both upgrade/ enhance the existing central heating controls throughout the home and integrate a high output multi fuel boiler stove within the sunroom / kitchen area.
A major floor to ceiling corner feature was constructed comprising of, custom new curved fronted polished black granite hearth and chamber base, Oyster brick chamber interior, Twin wall conventional flue system, Hunter Herald 80B freestanding boiler stove complete with integrated TV and associated electrical works.
The boiler stove was connected to the existing central heating system via system link, and provides heat to all areas of the property in addition to a massive 10KW of radiant heat to the sunroom / kitchen area.
